FAQ about the
REJUVENATE SPA experience

​Never been to a spa? Not sure of tipping procedures or what to expect?
Here are some common questions and answers that might help.

"What are the Covid-19 Safety Protocols?"
1. Please ensure that you are wearing your mask.
Please note, if you are not wearing a mask, you will be denied entry. 
2. Upon arrival, you will be asked to sanitise your
hands with our 80% hand sanitiser. 
3. In order to ensure the safety of our guests and staff, everyone entering the Spa will be required to fill in our Screening Form. 
4. We take pride in the cleanliness of our facilities, please be rest assured that all of our equipment and facilities are sterilised before & after each use. 

"What do I need to do the first time I visit?"
1.Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
2. Many of my services require consultation.
3. I will also ask you for a basic medical history such as
allergies and contact information.

"How early should I make my next appointment?"
Spa treatments are popular and my calendar fills up fast. If you have a specific need for a specific date, please schedule your appointment well in advance.
We will always try to accommodate your last minute
needs, but encourage pre-scheduling. 

"What if I am running late?"
Please note that your late arrival will determine the length of your treatment. Your service will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment
will be cancelled and rescheduled.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?"
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call at least
6 hours in advance to avoid fees.

"How much privacy can I expect?
Do I disrobe completely for my spa treatment?

Your treatments are always delivered in a private room. We want you to feel relaxed and at ease, as undergarments are required during treatments.

"Is there anything I should or shouldn’t do before coming to the Spa?"
Try not to eat for at least an hour before a treatment,
and drink plenty of water before and afterward.

"Should I tell someone if I have any special
physical conditions or allergies?"

Yes, please inform us if you have any special needs. We will be happy to accommodate you in any way so you will have a pleasant experience.
If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have high blood pressure, services that include application of heat are not recommended.
Please consult your physician first.
Please also let me know if you are wearing contact lenses when you have an appointment for a facial.

May I ask you to make adjustments for my comfort?
Absolutely. This is your treatment, and we want you to enjoy the experience.
If you would like the music volume raised or lowered, or a change in the amount of pressure during your massage, for example, please let us know.
Your comfort and care is of the greatest concern and priority.

"Do I have to talk or do anything in particular during a treatment?"
There’s no pressure to talk during a treatment as we prefer you take full advantage of your spa escape. I recommend consulting with us just before your treatment begins so you can close your eyes and truly gain the spa experience!

"How can I pay for services?" 
We accept the following forms of payment: gift cards, cash, Visa, FNB ewallet, Swazi Mobile Money and EFT.  Payment is expected at the time of service.

"Is it customary to tip for spa services? And if so, how much?"
Gratuities are welcomed. While tipping is certainly not required, it is appreciated and shows a direct reflection of your view of the service you received. The customary gratuity for spa services is
15% to 20% of the cost of the service.

"Are certain services just for men or women?"
Most spa treatments are appropriate for either,
but certain services do appeal to men or women.

"At what age is it appropriate for teenage children to start having waxing and beauty treatments?"
A child is never too young to learn good grooming and healthy habits. More and more teens are enjoying spa treatments, as several services offer solutions to specific teen concerns such as acne and makeup. We don't however accept children under the age of 12 in the Spa.

How often should I have a facial?
I recommend regular, monthly facials for optimum skin maintenance and nourishment; twice monthly for specific treatment programs and to counteract the effects of daily stress.

"What are the Spa’s hours of operation?" 
We are open for appointments 6 days a week and
closed on Sundays. We are also closed on PUBLIC HOLIDAYS!

"Aren’t spa’s really just for ‘young and beautiful’ people?"
Everyone will find spa services to be a welcoming haven no matter what his or her age, shape or size. In fact, the average age of my guests ranges from the 30s to the 50s, and higher.

Aren’t the services expensive?"
That depends on your perspective. Many of my treatments are preventative or soothing in nature, and offer benefits to improve your health and well-being . The investment in your health, spirit and well-being is priceless!

CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the high demand for appointments, we are compelled to charge a 30% cancellation fee of the total of your treatments booked, if your appointment is not canceled at least six (6) hours prior to your appointment.

Corporate or Group Bookings 
Bookings can be made in advance with a 50% deposit. Please email Management for more info.

Gratuities 
Please feel free to leave a gratuity for your therapist as these are not included in the service price and are solely given at the clients discretion.

​Home Care 
To continue your Spa experience at home, all our products used in the treatments are available for home care. Your therapist will recommend which products are best suited for your needs.

Gift vouchers 
Gift vouchers are available for purchase and may be exchanged for other treatments at the same value (excluding retail products). Please inquire about our Gift boxes and Specialized packages available.
